For nearly 60 years Villaolivo has cultivated and grown the olives, fruits and vegetables used in their products from their own groves, orchards and gardens in the agricultural town of Totana, Murcia. Known as the ‘market garden of Spain’, Murcia provides the perfect Mediterranean climate to grow juicy fruits and vegetables. The olives Villaolivo produce for the oil used in their gazpacho are picked, cold-pressed and bottled in the same day. Unlike many producers Villaolivo only use the freshest olives direct from the tree, if even a single olive falls on the ground it is rejected. The same commitment to home-grown ingredients is found in their tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and garlic, all of which are found in this refreshing and healthy soup!
