Noras peppers are small round peppers with a sweet earthy flavour. To make this paste, the peppers are first dried in the sun before the pulp is removed. This gives a lovely umami edge which makes this such a useful paste for using in salsas, pasta dishes and casseroles. Noras peppers are classically used to give the distinctive, deep flavours found in Romesco salsa. This salsa pairs beautifully with fish and seafood dishes and grilled vegetables. In particular it is served with the long spring onions called Calcots, which are barbequed in Catalunya in the springtime. Our Noras pepper paste is available in two sized glass jars: 140g and 550g.
