This is a tin of bright red spicy sundried paprika with a lovely flavour. The brand name, 'El Ruisenor', means the Nightingale, which is pictured singing on the tin. In Murcia, spicy hot paprika peppers are laid out in the sunshine to dry.  Then the stalks and pith are carefully removed, before the body of the peppers are ground into paprika powder.

This is a time-honoured process with its own Denomination of Origin from Murcia to guarantee its quality. This is the Picante (spicy) version, we also have a Dulce sweet sundried paprika available.
