Spain's answer to Nduja, the famous spicy spreadable sausage from Italy! It is a spreadable spicy chorizo made by an artisan company in Mallorca.
Sobrasada is made using streaky bacon, pork loin and spices, including plenty of paprika to give a rich flavour. It is cured for a minimum of 40 days to enhance its flavour. The sausage is then vacuum packed to preserve its quality, and wrapped in a traditional coloured paper sleeve.
Spread it on toast for breakfast, or use it in pasta sauces and rice dishes. Try it on pizzas as a spicy base, or mix with a little mayonnaise for a spicy kick!
Our Sobrasada carries an IGP 'Sobrassada de Mallorca' as a sign of its quality.
