These smoked paprikas are made using ground spicy Capsicum pepper from El Rey de la Vera in Extremadura, south-west Spain. A traditional drying process is used, with the smoke produced by wood burning using Oak. This method was originated by monks in the 15th century, and to this day, the region of La Vera is renowned for this product, and has its own Denomination of Origin as a guarantee of its quality.
This set is made of a 75g tin of Spicy (Picante) Pimenton and a 75g tin of Sweet (Dulce) Pimenton.
