The Asturian Ciders from 'El Gaitero' are famous throughout Spain. This traditionally-made dry cider is known as a 'Champagne' cider because it is bottle-fermented and stopped with a champagne cork. The label design shows a traditional bagpipe player from Asturias, wearing his kilt. Gaitero means 'the piper'.

El Gaitero uses traditional varieties of cider apples from Asturias to create a light clear straw-yellow cider with abundant fine bubbles. The aroma is fragrant, of apples and peach, and the taste is sharp and dry with a long finish.
