This is the top of the range Reserva Rioja from Rioja Vega. It has been made with painstaking care using a selection of Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. The wine is first aged for two years in oak casks. This is followed by further ageing in the bottle for at least twelve months.

The result is a wine which is ripe cherry red in colour with good depth. It has intense, complex aromas of ripe fruit, with hints of leather, tobacco, balsam and spices. These flavours demonstrate the excellent contribution from the oak barrels. Overall, it is warm, well-assembled and structured in the mouth; meaty and balanced.
