This Rioja is made from Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Garnacha grapes, picked at their optimum ripeness. Careful ageing for twelve months in oak casks is followed by at least a further six months in the bottle. This results in a complex wine, rich in aromas and flavours. It is clean, bright, ruby red in colour, with a bouquet of ripe black fruits and aromas of toast, cinnamon and toffee. Well-structured, meaty and balanced in the mouth. This rioja has received Gold medals at both the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and the International Wine Challenge.
