An aged Rioja, made from Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Garnacha grapes, picked at their optimum ripeness. Careful ageing for twelve months in oak casks, followed by at least a further six months in the bottle results in a complex wine, rich in aromas and flavours. Clean, bright ruby red with a bouquet of ripe black fruits and aromas of toast, cinnamon and toffee. Well-structured, meaty and balanced in the mouth. This rioja has received accolades at both the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (Gold medal) and the International Wine Challenge (Bronze medal).
