Piparras are a very special type of chilli pepper from Navarra in northern Spain. They are small thin sweet and sour pickled medium-hot chilli peppers. Piparras are a speciality of the Basque region. Delicious as an appetiser with a plate of serrano ham or other charcuterie. Great also with cheeses like the smoked Basque 'Idiazabal' and salads.
