This is a tin of bright red paprika with a lovely sundried paprika flavour. The brand name, 'El Ruisenor', means the Nightingale, which is pictured singing on the tin. In Murcia, organically-grown paprika peppers are laid out in the sunshine to dry, then the stalks and pith are carefully removed, before the body of the peppers are ground into paprika powder.
This is a time-honoured process with its own Denomination of Origin from Murcia to guarantee its quality. This is the Dulce (sweet) paprika, we also have a hot spicy sundried paprika available.
