Known also as 'Fabadon' to denote just how large these beans are! These large white butter beans have a lovely texture and flavour. They are cooked and ready for use.
They can be used in many casserole dishes such as Fabada Asturiana, which is a bean stew made with smoked charcuterie. However, please note that they are not quite the same as the faves from Asturias, there is a subtle difference in the shape of the beans. Ours are similarly buttery and delicious, but much less expensive.
They are delicious also in salads, for example mixed with tomatoes and olives.
