Our smoked paprikas are made from ground Capsicum peppers by El Rey de la Vera in Extremadura, south-west Spain. The peppers are picked, then dried and smoked in the traditional way over oak fires before being ground. This method was started by monks in the 15th century in the region of La Vera. The area has remained renowned for this product since then, and has its own Denomination of Origin as a guarantee of its quality.
This pack consists of a 75g tin of Spicy (Picante) Pimenton and a 75g tin of Sweet (Dulce) Pimenton.
