Four small hand made and hand painted bowls in a traditional 'Gazania' design and different colourways.
From our new supplier of artisan ceramics in Cordoba, Ceramicas del Rio Salado. They are based in a town famous for its ceramics called La Rambla, near Cordoba in Andalucia. The company is named after the Rio Salado, a tributary of the Guadalquivir river which flows from the Cordoba region through Seville and down to the sea.
Since 1969, Ceramicas del Rio Salado have been making their own designs of ceramics and pottery. They combine tradition and originality with top quality materials, clays and glazes. The soil in this area is rich in high quality clay deposits, which has led to the town of La Rambla becoming famous for its pottery and craftmanship.
The four small bowls are 9cm in diameter and 4.5cm high. Perfect for serving salsas and dips as part of a tapas or mezze table. The same designs are also available in three more sizes: 7cm, 14cm and a serving bowl of 20cm diameter.
