Part of our lovely range of products made using 'Flor de Sal' (Salt Blossom) from the beautiful island of Mallorca, harvested exclusively in the ancient Es Trenc salt flats'. The salt is naturally slow-dried in the sun, then mineral-rich sea salt is harvested with wooden rakes, following a time-honoured artisan method., using no additives or preservatives; this process enables it to retain more than 80 minerals and trace elements, including magnesium, fluoride, selenium and iodine. The taste is milder than regular salt with a subtle aromatic flavour, combining perfectly with the extra virgin olive oil used for the frying process. This salt has been lightly added to golden potatoes, simmered by hand in extra virgin olive oil to make these delicious crisps, and delicately seasoned with sea salt.
