Description

 

This high quality fig paste is made in Northwestern Spain in the province of Léon. Enjoyed like Membrillo, it is made using rich ripe Spanish figs instead of quince, to make a jammy, delicious pairing for salty cheeses such as Manchego and more creamy cheeses such as Tetilla. It can also be eaten with smooth duck pate and meats like partridge.
