These large white Faves beans are delicious and buttery, perfect for making Spanish stews such as Fabada Asturiana. They are from Leon in the north west of Spain. They are similar to the Faves beans from Asturias but not as long in shape - and at a lower price.
Our dried Fabada beans come from Legumbres el Maragato, a small artisan producer based in Leon on the river Jerga. The local climate is perfect for growing these tender beans. They are packed in a pretty cotton sack.
