This is a great selection of traditional soft Spanish biscuits and pastries. They are individually-wrapped, in an attractive traditional metal tin. These four types of biscuits are made with wheat flour and ground almonds, lightly flavoured with either crunchy almonds, egg yolk, anise and cinnamon. They are soft and powdery, which is where the name Polvorones comes from, since polvo means powder in Spanish.
