CAN BECH GOURMET CONFIT FIGS IN SYRUP

RECIPE CREATED BY MICHELIN STARRED CHEF, 285G

£7.25

Description

These figs are absolutely spectacular! Joan Roca, the Michelin-starred chef of El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Cataluna created the recipe. Rich ripe figs in a sugar syrup with a touch of lemon juice will enable you to bring a luxurious dessert experience home.

Pair with Mascarpone cheese or ice-cream - perhaps even a Mascarpone ice-cream? Or try with cheeses like ricotta, other cottage cheeses or a blue cheese such as our Valdeon.

And to drink, try a raisiny Pedro Ximenez sherry or our delicious dessert wine - a late-harvested Chardonnay from Navarra.

Winner of Gold in the 2022 Great Taste Awards. The judges said: “Plump, dark figs in a light syrup. This is a lovely idea. The fruit hold together when cut but is beautifully soft on the palate, and the figgy fruitiness is full on the palate but not too sweet.

Pairs well with:
