These figs are absolutely spectacular! Joan Roca, the Michelin-starred chef of El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Cataluna created the recipe. Rich ripe figs in a sugar syrup with a touch of lemon juice will enable you to bring a luxurious dessert experience home. Pair with Mascarpone cheese or ice-cream - perhaps even a Mascarpone ice-cream? Or try with cheeses like ricotta, other cottage cheeses or a blue cheese such as our Valdeon. And to drink, try raisiny Pedro Ximenez sherry or our new and delicious dessert wine - a late-harvested Chardonnay from Navarra.
