Try the classic flavour of balsamic vinegar in a pioneering format! These encapsulated drops of balsamic vinegar are from Modena in Italy and have an IGP (Indication of Geographical Origin) as a mark of its quality.
They are spheres of approximately 7-8mm in diameter. The balsamic vinegar is the liquid interior that explodes in the mouth when you bite into them. Dark in colour; these pearls are acidic and refreshing. They are an ideal ingredient to provide a sweet and sour counterpoint to any dish you can imagine. From oysters to desserts with red fruits.
The name 'Caviaroli' is taken from the word 'oli' which means oil in Catalan, together with caviar, as their oil and vinegar pearls have an intense flavour like a caviar. They give a “taste explosion” in the mouth, giving unique aromas to the palate. The fruity aroma and floral notes are ideal with salads, salmon or even chocolate!
The capsule is made from a seaweed base so suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Suitable for hot or cold dishes. The capsule stays intact up to 60ºC so add only after the meal is cooked as a finishing touch.
