Arbequina olives are famous for their distinct, nutty aroma. These small green-brown olives are buttery, with an intense, tangy finish. They are rich in oleic acid. They are always left whole because of their small size, but this helps to develop their intense flavour. Arbequina olives are great for cooking, for example in a casserole, where they keep their shape well. However, they also make a wonderful addition to a bowl of mixed olives with their distinctive colour, size and flavour.
