One of the designs from our new ceramic company; these bowls and plates are hand painted in a beautiful design inspired by Spain's Moorish influences. Cenefas Azul means blue border, and these plates and bowls are covered in an intricate striking pattern in a lovely blue colour.

This is the small bowl with a diameter of 11cm and a height of 5cm. Perfect for use with salsas and dips as part of a tapas or mezze table. We also have two sizes of plates and a larger bowl in the same range.

From our new supplier of artisan ceramics in Cordoba, Ceramicas del Rio Salado. They are based in a town famous for its ceramics called La Rambla, near Cordoba in Andalucia. The company is named after the Rio Salado, a tributary of the Guadalquivir river which flows from the Cordoba region through Seville and down to the sea.

Since 1969, Ceramicas del Rio Salado have been making their own designs of ceramics and pottery. They combine tradition and originality with top quality materials, clays and glazes. The soil in this area is rich in high quality clay deposits. This has led to the town of La Rambla becoming famous for its pottery and craftmanship.
