Conservas Leyenda´s story began when the Valerio family owned Cafetería Oliver in the Rioja village of Calahorra during the 70s and 80s. They noticed that the habits of their regular customers were beginning to change; people would often complain about having less time to cook and eat properly. In an effort to offer a delicious, healthy menu to their customers, the Valerio family began to conserve their home-cooked veg and delicatessen products for people to use at home. They were soon travelling the length and breadth of the Spain, delivering their delicious products to shop owners from a van.

Owing to the success of what was a humble project, Conservas Leyenda have grown substantially without compromising on quality. This has set them apart from the competition, making them a household name all over Spain, where good, home-cooked food is essential.
