Salsa Romesco 175g

 

 

 

We are delighted to be introducing this new salsa to our range! It is a classic salsa from Catalunya, a mildly spicy sauce made with Noras peppers, tomatoes, almonds and nibbed hazelnuts. It is perfect served with fish and seafood, or used in seafood stews such as the Catalan mixed seafood stew called 'Suquet de Peix'. And the other main time is it used in Catalunya is in early Spring, when the large Spring Onions called 'Calcots' are barbequed and served with this salsa as a dip - a 'Calcotada'.

 

Ingredients: Tomatoes, roasted red peppers, Noras pepper paste (15%), extra-virgin olive oil, hazelnuts (5%), almonds (3.6%), sherry vinegar (sulphites), garlic, paprika, black pepper, salt, cornflour.
