Pisto Manchego 350ml





Pisto Manchego is a classic Spanish dish, mentioned by Don Quixote in his travels around La Mancha in the 16th century book by Cervantes. Peppers, aubergine, onions and tomatoes are sauteed in olive oil, with a little sherry vinegar and garlic, salt and black pepper. Similar to a ratatouille, but more chunky and full of Spanish flavours. Made to our recipe using many of our own ingredients, and avoiding artificial additives and preservatives.  Use as a base for casseroles, heat gently and serve on toast as an appetiser, or bake in a terracotta cazuela with an egg on top as a light meal - a taste of the Mediterranean in a jar.


Ingredients: Tomatoes (24%), roasted peppers (19%), onions, aubergine (10%), extra-virgin olive oil, purple garlic (garlic, salt, citric acid)(3%), sugar, sherry vinegar (sulphites), salt, black pepper.
Allergy advice: Contains sulphites. Produced in a factory which handles nuts.
