Alioli is essentially a mix of olive oil and garlic - we have used purple garlic to give a rich garlicky flavour without the bitterness of some other garlic, and extra-virgin olive oil to give a full-flavoured mayonnaise. It can be used with all sorts of meals: fish and seafood, meats, vegetables - and it is very good with chips! It is also served with Paellas and Fideuas (the Catalan pasta dish with seafood) - delicious!
Ingredients: Extra-virgin olive oil (54%), garlic (23%)(purple garlic (14%), salt, citric acid), pasteurised egg yolk (egg yolk, salt), water, sherry vinegar (sulphites), sugar, salt, emulsifier: xanthan gum.Allergy advice: contains egg and sulphites. Produced in a factory that handles nuts.
