A marinated piece of streaky bacon weighing a minimum of 400g, made from Serrano pigs, rubbed with salt and paprika before being cured. These come from the region of La Rioja in northern Spain. It requires cooking before eating - slice thinly and fry like a flavourful bacon, or cut into chunks and add to soups and casseroles to add depth of flavour.
Ingredients: Pork bacon, salt, paprika, garlic, antioxidant E301 and preservative E252 and E250.
